Nathusius' pipistrelle bat discovered in Weymouth - The rare Nathusius' pipistrelle bat has recently been discovered in Weymouth and the RSPB want to find out if they are breeding in the area. To do this a number of bat breeding bosex are going to be up at the RSPB Radipole Lake reserve in March and they will be monitored throughout the year for breeding Nathusius' pipistrelles. If they are found to be breeding at Radipole, this will be only the 8th known maternity roost in the country.
